Our Story Travela is proudly developed by Expert Travel & Tourism Limited, a private limited company based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and officially incorporated in 2020. We launched our mobile app in June 2021, available on both iOS and Android, to make travel planning easier than ever before.

Behind the Vision Meet Mir Ishtiaque, a passionate filmmaker and experienced Airbnb host who witnessed first-hand the gaps in Bangladesh’s short-term rental market. Motivated by these challenges, he set out to build a platform that would redefine local travel—creating a solution specifically tailored to the needs of travelers and hosts in Bangladesh.
